5 riders Charlie, Ian, Neil, Paul, Rod (with new lights!) and George met up near the church in Winster, To start head south along the lane until the ford at Birks Bridge, cross the ford (no option as water was extremely deep) or take the little stone bridge. Then climb up the steep hill, turn right at Cote Hill and take the lane past the pond, ride on down to high house and the muddy section here we encontered a rather large bull that looked a bit scary in our bike lights. Back to the saftey of the road and the route went right, past the pub and on to find the bridleway on the left hand side up past Bow Mabble Breast! Here Rod insisted on a group photo to celebrate the occassion. We then took the left lane to the road a right turn and then a quick left onto a lane near Barrow Plantation, here the puddles were somewhat deep identified when we heard cries from Ian as his feet and cranks were submerged. Then we proceeded down the track and back on the Winster road to the cars followed by a drink in The Brown Horse.
