4 folk made it to Barbon on a clear evening,
Ian was first but had chain issues in that half a power link had fallen off, luckily
George had spare 9 speed ones as he now has 10 speed chain. Chris M, George, Ian
and CT set off up the lane, but next issue was spd cleats, so tighten bolts and
off again. At this point we were passed by a solo mtb rider, we thought maybe we'll
catch up later. On to the first bridleway section steep as usual, then along the
track for a mile or so and guess what 2x punctures, Chris m and Ian. At the lane
turn left and climb, this section had been re-tarmaced very smooth. Usual route
up, up and along, down to the ford, cross ford. race back. we never did catch the
other rider, he was probably in the pub! Next ride is Ings with meal after.
