29th September 2016 - Ings and after summer meal;)

Jamie B & M, and CT turned up at Ings, then Joel made it out, nearly ready and George turned up, we were on the bikes and it rained, then Grant turned up...so we headed out and he could catch us up! Straight over the road and up 3 rivers, Grant caught up at the first gate (we had to wait ages;) then just after this on the first little climb George was powering away and his chain let go as they say, so in the half light he had to break his chain and add a quick link, not too bad as it had stopped raining. We were passed by a chap on a cross bike and later we saw some other MTBers and a few lights around the place, popular. At the top river we turned right to see how deep the next two were, having rode through the first one, but the next two were faster and most opted for the stepping stones, except JP who just got his feet wet carrying his fat bike over to make sure it did not float away down stream;). Back up the tarmac climb and back to Ings spot on 8pm, meal time. We grabbed two tables for 8 as Andrew and Neil joined us for a chinwag.
Next ride from Brathay bridge
Nearly everyone, Neil is just out of shot, so nearly a full selfie!
Something to laugh about...call that a special burger!
The Future at BikeTreks, a 3" tyre electric assist MTB :)
